Can you describe what you do in 10 words?

This week I was challenged to do this, and I thought it was a great thought exercise.

Here is mine:

I provide soft skills training and coaching to STEM leaders.

Or the cheekier answer:

I help nerd and geek leaders learn how to people.

In science and tech we often get caught up in giving elaborate descriptions of what we do. We use words like cyberinfrastructure, or acronyms like LIDAR and expect that people will understand us.

But what if your description was more like:

I design huge computers that solve the world’s complex problems.

Or

I use light beams to study how strong tornadoes form.

Now, as a lay person, I want to know more! Can you describe what you do in 10 words?
